European Football Odds: Crucial clash at bottom of La Liga

Quique Sanchez Flores

There are matches from La Liga, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 this evening, as Getafe host Levante (Match betting – Getafe 11/10, Draw 21/10, Levante 3/1) in a big game at the bottom of Spain’s top-flight.

Getafe, managed by former Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores, have enjoyed a real renaissance after what was a dire start to the campaign.

They lost each of their first seven games, but they have steadily improved to the point where they have lost only one of their last nine matches.

Getafe are 16th in the table, four points above the drop zone as they prepare to face rock-bottom Levante.

Alessio Lisci’s men finally won their first game of the season earlier this month with a 2-0 win over Mallorca, but undid all their hard work following a 2-0 loss at home to Cadiz, who occupy 18th.

La Liga Betting Odds

In the Bundesliga, two out-of-form sides meet as Hertha Berlin play host to VFL Bochum (Match betting – Hertha Berlin 5/4, Draw 12/5, VFL Bochum 9/4).

It is a contest between 13th and 11th in the German top-flight, with both sides not too far away from the relegation places, though there is a comfortable enough buffer for now.

However, wins have been in rare supply for both teams recently – Hertha have won only one of their last five matches, while Bochum have taken three points in just one of their last six games.

Finally, in Ligue 1, Marseille will hope to jump up to second in the table as they play host to Angers (Match betting – Marseille 1/2, Draw 16/5, Angers 11/2) who are 12th in the table.

Jorge Sampaoli’s side are hoping to get back to winning ways after their defeat against Lyon last time out.

Angers travel to the Stade Velodrome on the back of a poor away record – they have won only one game on their travels since the opening day of the season.
